Keyofx
DayBreakers [youtub]wV-RIxL5aA4[/youtub] Everyone's a Vampire...The remaining are hunted and farmed for blood, but what happens when there's not a drop left??? HOLY CRAP THAT LOOKS AMAZING. I had forgotten all about this until now! Looks like the Spierigs' really brought it! Who would have thought? I'd recommend watching Undead, their Aussie indie zombie flick. There is also this indie Australia/New Zealand co-production called Perfect Creature. Alternate reality again, with a steam-punk new zealand (called nuvo zelandia or something, I don't really remember) where vamps and humans coexist. Would have a brilliant comic series, but sadly no one cared. I thought it was *very* good.
Tyler
And the guy who played Kyle Reese is one of the rare teen actors that I have seen that I dont want to strangle within 5 minutes of screen time. I think he did a really good job impersonating a young Michael Biehn, right down the the voice and looks. Yup, he was good. He also played Chekov in Star Trek and was absolutely hilarious in it! And the Michael Biehn resemblance is amazing. Good casting choice there. I really wanted to like the movie. I kept waiting for something big that never happened. I do give them credit for the amazing production design, VFX and action sequences though. And it's certainly leagues ahead of T3.

I am not a science fiction buff so ST was first introduction to Trek universe for me. Loved his accent. U and Afty hav put contrasting views on Terminator.. I hope its atleast decent. THis summer has been very dissapointing (what with last years' TDK, ironman, pineapple express and others). Still I would watch anything that has Bale in it. Aftrunner
I dont think Ty actually dislikes the movie. Its just not as good as T2 (esp. after the mega hype the movie carried) and there are areas where it could be better (eg the ending which leaves things wide open for another sequel). But even with its flaws its an amazing ride. Go into it with an open mind and I am pretty sure you will have fun. BTW Arnolds appearance got a huge cheer in the theatre and so did the ending. Aftrunner
why is Kyle a child in T4 and grown up in T1 ? Because some years after T4 (when he becomes an adult) he is sent back in time by John Connor. So when he arrives in T1 he is a grown up. Edit @ kitsy no dude thats T2. I guess a terminator marathon is in order for you. Start with the first one. Edited June 26, 2009 by Aftrunner
Nemo
why is Kyle a child in T4 and grown up in T1 ? i havent seen 4 but isnt it obvious..?? Kyle goes back in time in the first movie to save sarah conner. I am guessing he must have time travelled much after the T4 events. Again, i havent seen T4 yet so there might be some other hidden twists.
Nemo
hey, Aftrunner, is T4 really as bad (n terms of story) as people in imdb are making it out..??
Grimmjow
so let me get this right, had John not saved Reese, Reese wouldnt have traveled back in time and John wouldnt have been born ? isnt that uhh like a loop in the time travel
Aftrunner
hey, Aftrunner, is T4 really as bad (n terms of story) as people in imdb are making it out..?? People at IMDB are whiny bitches. Its no Prestige but its no Phantom menace either. Its a solid script that holds the action together. You go in expecting commentary on humanity's morals in a post apocalyptic world's decaying society you will come out disappointed and will have only yourself to blame. You go in expecting a hugely entertaining film with a decent plot and a story with no dull moments and plenty of references to the previous Terminator films and you will come out grinning. so let me get this right, had John not saved Reese, Reese wouldnt have traveled back in time and John wouldnt have been born ? isnt that uhh like a loop in the time travel It is, its also the whole plot of the first two Terminator films.
