He was also pretty decent in Smokin' Aces, Blade Trinity (probably the only good thing besides Jessica Biel's backside in that movie) and even as Deadpool in X-Men: Origins. Clever narration with some catchy lines, excellent scenery with some gorgeous women thrown in the lead roles. A very good movie for a time pass. I love how the movie doesn't take itself too seriously and just ends. Only that, Penelope cruz doesn't have anything oscar worthy to do here. Canon dictates that it be Scott. But Hal is more popular - and I can just imagine the Parallax arc on screen. Kyle is a wuss and should never grace the screen. The actor is decent, the director (Martin Campbell) is good. DC desperately needs a successful super-hero movie franchise besides Batman. The rest of the movie was an abomination. Speaking of super-hero team ups, there's no news on the Avengers movie either. The plane crash scene was brilliant. I had goosebumps when the showed that scene. That was vintage superman. I am sure Avengers movie will come out, too big to be ignored.
