i have only played 2 versions of POP the 1st one in DOS and POP3D , but the interesting thing here is Lord ganesha's statue in the background of 2nd pic, isn't the POP thing set in Middle eastern kingdom or something? how did Lord find hie was there?

The Matrix Trilogy is great when watched back to back. Individually they are a bit :meh:

Watched In The Loop for the second time in the same month (New record for me). The movie is one of the funniest movie that have come all year long, get it without fail guys.

The first Matrix flick stands well on it's own. But definitely not the sequels, Reloaded and Revolutions are essentially one movie split in half. That's also the reason why Revolutions feels meh.

@Snake - seriously, can't wait for G.I Joe!

As for the POP pics... the Prince's costume looks all wrong! Leather jacket and pants!!? Anyway, guess I'll watch the movie for the beautiful Gemma Arterton alone....

As stand alone movies I actually liked Revolutions better than Reloaded. Especially liked the battle against the machines with the mech suits and everything.

Part of the charm of Reloaded was the intrigue and anticipation it created for Revolutions with the ending (ZOMG! MATRIX WITHIN A MATRIX?? :().

This made me hate Reloaded even more after watching Revolutions.

As for the KungFu, nothing compares to the fights in the first movie (Even the

totally CGI looking

Neo Vs 100 Smiths). Sure they were choreographed well. But you knew Neo would whoop everyone's a*s in the end.

Yes the fights in the sequels (except for the Freeway Chase and the Zion siege) lacked tension. Neo pretty much pwned everyone and everything. The Chateau fight is still my favorite though. Brilliant fight choreography there and Rob Dougan... :(

As far as action scenes go, nothing tops the lobby shootout from M1. It's by far the coolest most badass action scene ever!

BTW The Matrix-within-a-Matrix (or as we called it MWAM) was actually one of the most hated theories back then! @ those discussions.

LOL, I remember pages and pages of discussions on that. I am not getting into that again. It is so much easier to pretend the sequels didn't exist.

middle eastern setting, yes but the princess was Indian and so was her father. Its been a long time i played sands so someone better shud explain this, but i do remember scenes where similar statues and murals with elephant heads resembling to the hindu diety Ganesha were present in the game.

Gi Joe getting some decent reviews..

maybe, just maybe.. there might be a case where it actually turns out good.. (i hope)

i mean if its a pure action movie, no strings attached.. hardcore 80's style with awesome explosions.. then who knoes.. I want it to be watchable.. ohh.. the childhood.

From the reviews so far it seems that how it is. Non-stop action, little filler and hot babes. It's gonna be awesome, I tell ya!

Wonder when it's gonna hit theaters here though.
