Bulovski
Just finished it! Wow, that was REALLY good! Is it representative of the quality of the series as well, or just a one-off?The only thing I didn't like was the crazy rock soundtrack! At least they used the old orchestral style score for the flashback! Excellent film though, thanks guys! yes - some of the stories are absolutely amazing. ROFL ZACK SNYDER FRANK MILLER Edit: Found this while reading up on Return of the Joker. I agree with Moore - Watchmen cannot be made into a movie, or even a book. It is perfect as a comic book - down to the placement of the panels. I can understand some of his frustration with 300 though. 300 is the exact opposite of Watchmen - one requires concentration, the other is best enjoyed when there is none. Bulovski
Saw Kaminey - folid movie is abfolutely folid. Fahid rocked it. Good timepass flick. The script / editing / direction is extremely tight - there is no time to reflect on past events. It's a highly Indianized version of the dark comedy genre of films (Snatch, Lock Stock, Pulp Fiction). I wish they'd given subtitles for the bengali / marathi dialogues because I've rarely heard such genuine scripting of non-hindi in a hindi movie. My marathi is weak but i thought it was spot on in the movie. The bengali is absolutely hilarious. Some scenes which are meant to be funny are hilarious. The climax is the culmination - it could've been drawn out a bit more but I think they ran out of time.

Gautam
Just came back from District 9. Liked it. A really well made movie. Felt fresh and different. But I feel it's a bit overrated. The plot became increasing predictable. Also the devolution from the documentary style presentation to totally over the top action movie felt a bit jarring. The plot became increasing predictable. Also the devolution from the documentary style presentation to totally over the top action movie felt a bit jarring. Predictability is secondary (I did say there were many an issue with the film, including with the story/plot), but the ride itself was wonderful. I LOL'd at how the bald guy kept surviving EVERYTHING all the way to end. Lots more instances of idiocy like that, but I'm not going to hold it against the movie. You don't often see good sci-fi

Solitaire
Just finished watching Terminator Salvation. While the movie isn't anything special, I just don't understand why everyone's bringing out the pitchforks against it. Also saw The Hangover. Nice movie. And watched State of Play. Liked the movie a lot.
zophar
if you liked the 'state of play' movie you should check out the original UK miniseries of the same name.. far far better i agree with you on T4, i saw it yesterday myself, not the worst movie I've ever seen but if I went for it first day in theater i would be furious
