Okay! Lets talk about the Avatar trailer now. What do you guys think of it? Downloading as we speak.

Right, saw the trailer. Loved the first minute where its all cool stuff with great potential and then the last minute is just another big visual FX jerk off. Not impressed.

Just returned after watching gi joe (12 30 show) at PVR , Im going to get a lot of hate for this but ill be honest with yall, the movie was simply not good at all. I tried to like this movie but its simply too lame. Im the kind of guy who loves movies like trasformers , i loved both movies , even watched ROF 3 times in theatre. But Gi joe is a crappy movie for all the wrong reasons, this movie had soo much potential  .First of all the cast, besides denis quaid ,the rest of the cast in the movie simply kill the seriousness of this flick, specially dukes ' best friend (the guy who loves to smoke weed in all the scary movies) . And the story ?? well its about an organization known as MARS who develop a new type of nanite weapons ,these nanites can eat thru almost anything, tank armor and even entire cities itself, in the begining the us army is given an assignment to transport this weapon to another location, on their way the convoy is attacked by these group of super soldiers with hi tech weaponry and they too are after the these nanite weapons, the entire transport unit gets destroyed execpt for two soldiers, who are later rescued by this mysterious organization who call themselves "joes" and tahts how our two heroes end up getting recruiting in the worlds most elite anti terrorist organization. I could go on and on , but anyway i wont spoil this crappy movie any more. This movie does have its moments, the action is great, chase sequence in paris is great , baroness (sienna miller) was great :wOOtjumpy: but her role in the movie sucks, in the begining shes a hot villain, later she gets all emotional  . Me and my friends couldnt help but laugh at this movie fulltime, we even boo'ed this film when the end credits started rolling. anyway some of yall might enjoy this movie . but my advice to yall is to wait for the dvd release. Each ticket was 200 bucks , waht a waste.

I was expecting soo much from this movie, someone had even posted an early review of this movie in this thread itself where it said

"Better than both transformers films" .

^^ that is utter bullshit, this movie is absolutely nothing compared to either of the trasformers movies. I loved watching the gi joe cartoon when i was a kid, even had sevral action figures. But this horrible movie dosent deserve my credit.

^^ please bear with my grammar and spelling errors :)

'The Lord Of The Rings' Extended Edition Blu-Ray Discs Still More Than A Year Away

Posted 7/28/09 9:00 am ET by Brian Warmoth in News

Peter Jackson said it might take awhile to get support for converting "The Lord of the Rings" into 3D, though that's exactly what he wants to do. Now we learn that Blu-ray adopting "Rings" fans have a wait of their own in store, for hi-def versions of Jackson's extended editions. Tolkien fans should be getting an HD "Lord of the Rings" trilogy in time for Christmas this year, but the word from Jackson is that extended edition cuts of the three films won't be out on Blu-ray for at least another year.

Jackson has been talking to the studio about doing some new extras for the Blu-ray extended editions, according to Collider, but those discs will be in a separate release, not likely to appear until a year after the November 3 launch for the theatrical editions. Jackson didn't reveal what new material might be included, but it sounds like extended Blu-ray editions are in the cards. As if there was ever any doubt.

If everything stays on schedule, the discs may still beat Guillermo del Toro's "The Hobbit" by a year, according to Jackson's December 2011 prediction for the film. Then again, maybe we just won't be seeing those extended cuts for two years.

The extended editions of the "The Fellowship of the Ring," "The Two Towers" and "The Return of the King" already clock in at more than eleven hours with special features, so it may be possible for hardcore fans to make it through the Blu-ray releases at least once before the prequel film comes to theaters. By that point, maybe there will be enough buzz for Jackson to get the 3D edition he wants to see.

Are you planning to buy the "Lord of the Rings" theatrical edition Blu-ray set when it comes out in November, or are you going to hold out for the extended cuts? Sound off in the comment section below.
