Watched a very unusual movie called "Let the Right One In".

 

Its a Swedish horror movie focused on a young girl who is a vampire. Unlike what you would expect, this is more a story of friendship, love and trust rather than cheap scares and gore, although there are some disturbing moments.

 

It looks like a low budget indie, but has a few instances of nice visual tricks.

 

I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it to those with a slightly artsy bend of mind, primarily for the stark setting, moody visuals and dialogue and the riveting performance of the lead actress.

Beautiful movie with an engrossing storyline.I loved it.

It is indeed a great movie. I think it has been discussed in the thread earlier.

But dont expect anything earth shattering.

That's what I loved about it: it felt so grounded! None of that sensory overload you usually get from a big budget film.

Just saw "20th Century Boys Part 2 - The Last Hope" and liked it quite a bit.. even better than the first one... The only issue being

There's gonna be a 3rd part and I'll have to wait to get to see it and even more so because its DVDs are almost impossible to find :cheers:
