You can't help them. IMDB has an 8.7 score from 19K votes, putting it at #28 in the top 250. But then you can never trust IMDB. The public will vote up anything remotely decent. I hated most of his stuff upto and incl Titanic and was pretty sure he would fade once the teen lovefest ended. But over the years I have really warmed up to him. He is a pretty good actor. Check out the trailer to Shutter Island if you havent. It looks cool. I am gonna pick up the book this weekend, its got some pretty decent reviews, loving Lehanes other book (Mystic river ATM). Not the best Mann, but then average Mann is still WAY better than most The action sequences are mind-blowing, though. Very realistic, which made the deaths quite hard to watch.
