I know opinions but tell me, how can u not like wikus van der merwe ?? I liked the start of the movie, where it starts off like a documentary....I was really hooked on till he gets infected . Then, the movie just goes downhill, with just the gangsters eating aliens, the semi-alien hero eating cat food, medical experiments and what not. I found it to be unnecessarily disturbing and grossly made, looks like the director tried too hard to make it look authentic. Seriously Billy, the movie wasn't for you, you shouldn't have watched it. Even if you did at least you shouldn't have called it 'POS'. You didn't like it, that doesn't make the movie 'POS'. Also, I can't imagine anyone who loves video games not liking the movie. The last 30-40 mins gave me goosebumps. While I do agree that some parts can be considered "gross" by some people it still really wasn't that bad. From what I understand he is close friend of Neill Blomkamp and also produced (and had a small part in) Alive In Joburg - the short film on which D9 is based.
