Just watched Jail... The Master-Storyteller is at it once again :P Never has a movie made my heart sink soo much ( Taare Zameen Par's Maa song being the closest that comes to it).

This is gutwrenching, inspirational, compelling stuff and just makes u feel how ungrateful we are to lead normal, free lives.. I continued crying much after the movie was over. Thank you madhur... n balls to our judicial system.

I have no doubts on madhur work...he is very bold story teller(atleast as far as Indian standards)..i have not seen this movie

but have u seen the shawsank redemption that movie does a awesome job of saying how lucky we are to be free....

^^ Really ??? Critics have literally screwed the movie.

Hmmm i dont go by reviews. And with madhur bhandarkar, he hasn't made a movie that i havent liked. :giggle:

Neil nitin mukesh may have a funny name, but boy CAN he act :P

@playstation

U know i was thinking about Shawshank Redemption right during the whole movie... "fear can hold you prisoner..Hope can set you free"

But Madhur Bhandarkar feeds on all the cliches of the particualar part of the society he is making the movie on. The only movie I have liked till now is Chandini Bar.

chandini bar was awesome(though i could not catch full movie till now just parts of it) ,page 3 was greattoo,corporate was awesome too but i just feel fashion was good(not as good as his other movies)

thats the sad thing about bollywood, actors are taken based on their brand image and saleability instead of them being "fit for the role". Bollywood badly needs fresh actors.

I totally agree with billa here.

if 1 actor's film is doing well 10 more movies are given to him ... and not to say its a family business ...beta yeha bhai yeha behan yeha mama ka ladkha ....jaise pura khadan ko hi acting ata hai....itna talent hai India mein thoda ulog ko bhi chance do...hardly are they given a chance.

actor like dev anand ,mehmood ,aditya pancholi they were all into odd jobs like mehmood used to sell poultry...adtiya pancholi was in a local train when he was asked if he wants to work....aaj kal toh big banner big actor big heroine.. :fear:
