THE DIRECTOR
This is England is a fantastic movie, must see for those that are in the punk culture, its about skins head, but no based on racism, but shows some disillusion on how skins heads was linked with racism. must watch for movie lovers. MarketTantrik
Goal and its sequel were feel good movies, not very realistic at all. Green Street Hooligans is one of the best football related movies, IMO.

Chaztin
Watched Departed yesterday, average film, with " Everybody kills Everybody " ending...!! Ending appeared quite stupid to me!! Though it quite well placed in story sequence!!
Ne0
^^ Are you serious :shock3: ? you think 'The Departed' is average :shock3: ? :ko2:
Chaztin
The actors performed well, story was good, filmy type ofcrse...!! n yes i felt its an average film! esp the "end"!
MarketTantrik
I agree with Chaztin on this one. Performances were top notch, but the plot and sequences weren't all that good ultimately. Thats what you get for ripping off a HK masala flick. THE DIRECTOR
so what have we learn't ................. remakes/ another adaptation suck infernal affairs FTW which to be honest pissed me off. if the FFSI said the they won't put Black (2005) up for the Oscars because its a remake........... then how the f**k did The Departed get in and win. personally i hate the FFSI sometimes........................ f**king bias mother f**kers. but then im glad they put Ek-Lavya. first decent decision in a long time. but then they have been accused of corrupt for this choice as well. but for me the film was great and it did wonders for bollywoods reputation and box office in the UK. MarketTantrik
@ Director: Agreed. I really liked Eklavya a lot. Although it helped that I got first day tickets for free
Fire Wolf
Meh, Eklavya was just about ok, but it sort of bored me. I do think that it may surprise it's critics by going far though. But imo Paheli and Eklavya have been 2 wrong choices in what, 2 (or 3?) years.
Ne0
^^ Agreed, even I didnt like that movie....don't know what was special in that to be made as an Indian entry for oscars Regarding departed, Both DiCaprio and Jack's perf just bowled me over....maybe after u've seen the original u might not like this. But ppl who've not seen the orig hk flick, 'The Departed' is an excellent movie. Chaztin, Respect ur opinion, but, everybody kills every body was the ending of Reservoir Dogs as well
