speaking of Vin Diesel. i loved the story and universe around Riddick. i really liked Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury, The Chronicles of Riddick and even the game The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (f**king underrated..... great game)

its unfortunate that The Chronicles of Riddick didn't do to well, but then i could have been much better.

i do hope they try to do more with the series. i know they are still doing a remake of the game (YES!!!) for the ps3 and 360.

Yup! Even I love the Riddick Universe. I always like darker sci-fi. Pitch Black was perfect. Chronicles of Riddick should have kept the same tone. Still parts of it were really cool - like the escape from Crematoria.

its alright, its not great, good homage to grindhouse cinema or Exploitation Cinema, but still........ i expected more. but truth be told, Tarantinos film is much better than Rodriguezs. but the fake trailers are cool. loved "Machete" (which is being made into a really film......YES!), "Werewolf Women of the SS" (Rob Zombie f**kers!!!!!!!!!), "Don't" by Edgar Wright (f**king brilliant) but "Thanksgiving" by Eli Roth was poor, but i loved the narration voice, good choice.

I've heard otherwise... most people say Planet Terror is supposed to be the better half. I like Rodriguez's style though. Totally over the top stuff!

Anyway, I think I'll decide after I watch them. I'm still waiting for a DVD release which will combine the two movies and all the fake trailers. Right now they're available separately and only the Machete trailer is present at the beginning of Planet Terror.
