Watched The Wolfman last night. Definitely not a must watch. Horror buffs may want to check it out though. It's like a homage to old horror movies. Expect a lot of cliches... cob-webbed/creaky mansions, boo scares, a creepy mental asylum and the obligatory romance angle. The atmosphere is great throughout, the cast is good and there's plenty of gore but the story and editing really holds it back. I saw the big twist coming within the first 10 minutes. A lot of the events in the movie just seem to happen without any connection. I did love the "horror movie" atmosphere, the music and the old-school creature effects. But sadly the rest of the movie is just mediocre.
