Mostly because of my faith in Jackie Earle Haley. Let's hope he proves to be a good Freddy. Burton's style has become formulaic and watching Depp on the screen is getting tedious. Having said that, I'll probably watch the movie in 3D. Its just an action flick with descent and nothing else so if you are expecting too much, you're in for disappointment. Though, I loved it. Lame, just lame. How can someone like this movie? it got 8.5 on imdb I watched it coz I heard a lot about this movie and someone mentioned that it is a little like 1408.
