arun360
Shrek Forever After! Trailer#1 Trailer#2 Since the fans of the original are grown ups now, the jokes aren't kid-friendly anymore. Concept and gags in trailer are funny. Looking forward to this one.

Tyler
THE BOOK OF ELI - MUST WATCH. Seriously, the movie was far better than I expected. I had a strong urge to play Fallout 3 when I came back home. Some of the shots seemed right out of the game. And it's not possible to watch the scenes where Denzel's character tries to trade items with shop owners without thinking of an RPG. Denzel Washington was a complete badass and Mila Kunis... It was also great to see Gary Oldman as the bad guy again. The action scenes were few and far between but were very well shot (no shaky cam stuff). The story is pretty good but try not to over-analyze the movie after the ending. There are some implausible things in there but it still worked for me. The movie could have used lesser slow-mo shots of Denzel walking though. Overall, it's a great watch if you love your post-apocalyptic movies with a message. Not to mention great action. Right
Saw The Blind Side. Average flick, "Pursuit of Happyness" theme - Sandra Bullocks still looks hot What was Oscar worthy in this? Edited March 20, 2010 by Udham
Aftrunner
Saw Book of Eli. Very good film and well worth watching. Favorite bit was the shoot out at the house. Its not great action but I loved the camera work in that one. Moving from inside to outside was really cool. The reverse Zatoichi (I dunno? Lol?) they pulled was a bit far fetched. As was the central theme of the book but all in all really enjoyed it. First decent film I have seen in the theater in weeks.

Tyler
Saw Book of Eli. Very good film and well worth watching. Favorite bit was the shoot out at the house. As was the central theme of the book but all in all really enjoyed it. First decent film I have seen in the theater in weeks. Watched the movie again and yes the shootout was my favorite part too. The camerawork and sound effects were brilliant in that scene. And I loved it when Dumbledore went "you want weapons? I'll show you weapons!" forget all that.. how hot was mila kunis ??? Very. BTW, watched GAMER last night. What a f**king of time waste of time... The MTV/quick-cutting style worked for Crank (also from the same director duo) but here it felt extremely overdone. The action scenes were badly shot and almost incomprehensible. SHAKY CAM AND QUICK CUTS DURING ACTION SCENES NEEDS TO DIE!!! And the less said about the plot... the better. The movie had some potential especially with Dexter playing the OTT bad guy, but even he was wasted. Not to mention our dear Censor Board stepping in every 2 mins to eliminate all nudity/sex. Aftrunner
forget all that.. how hot was mila kunis ??? Insanely hot. Watching this made me think it should have been Mila instead of that giant man girl Megan Fox in Transformers. Great. Now watch Shutter Island I have it. Watched the first 20 minutes and then stopped. I really wanna see it in theaters. Its definitely one of those films where you have to watch it twice to actually appreciate it. I already know how it ends so I could see in the first 20 minutes itself how little things you wouldnt notice the first time around actually stand out when you know what the real deal with the story is. For example, take the guard that Leo meets when he lands on the island and he asks him for his gun, there is a smirk on the guards face that actually has meaning when you know the ending. Little things add up.

With no release date, looks like we are still hanging in balance. But look on the bright side, we're getting Clash of Titans day one release and that too in 3D. I mean, I still don't get why the hell was Eli protecting the book, if he knew everything by heart ? And I fail to comprehend why the villain was after the book either. I mean, how does he expect to conquer towns/cities using a Bible ? Edited March 22, 2010 by Ne0
