L33TWiZaRd
Watched " Bourne Ultimatum " yesterday, really good movie..3.8/5!! May i ask why it lost 1.2 marks ? My watch list for this year includes the batman flick(christian bale ftw), the brazilian job and the latest indy flick for sure
Chaztin
it lost 1.2 marks coz I felt that it cld have had more action filled in it..., the contents cld hv been better then they were, it was like a remake of its second part with few good changes...!! Eventhough I felt it failing at certain parts, I liked the movie very much, I even liked the ending very much!!
L33TWiZaRd
I personally felt the second part was mediocre compared to this one and the first. Aneeways, we can continue this discussion xbl on chat
Chaztin
Yeah, initial two parts were quite lame then this one, coz they just tried to expand the story so that ppl can understand what it has in it...and so they cldnt find enough time for action, where as in " Bourne Ultimatum " story was already clear, they just needed to show a Happy Cheesy ending. So they cld properly fill some good action scenes! But i expected bit more action. Bourne by now has been to all Countries of the world, guess where he wld be going if sequel 4th part is out...!! L33TWiZaRd
You are correct. But then they can always write up a screenplay. Maybe prequel

WhatsInTheName
I never could get Sienfeld. I've tried but I just don't find him funny. Am I bad? I wouldn't say he's funny, he's sarcastic. People who like sarcastic humor would like his jokes. His style of humor is observational. Not sarcastic. Big difference between the two. You want sarcasm, watch Becker or House. ^^True
Tyler
^^there are 3 books written on Bourne by Ludlum, isn't it??? There's two more books in the series... The Bourne Legacy and The Bourne Betrayal. But they aren't written by Ludlum and from what I've heard they aren't that good. Just milking the franchise I guess. Ne0
I never liked ludlum's books, only the films are good ! I would prefer writers like 'Fredrick Forsyth' over this guy anyday !

Tyler
Watched "The Golden Compass" today morning. I actually enjoyed it more that I thought I would! I thought it would be another generic fantasy movie and an average one at that since the reviews for it were less than steller. Now I've never read any of the novels the movie is based on but I did like the concept. The fantasy element is not overdone (no dwarves and elves here) and is quite original (don't let those talking animals from the trailers fool you, it's not like Narnia). The vfx, set designs, production values etc are amazing. Performances are good throughout although the big name stars don't have much screen time. The movie belongs to Dakota Blue Richards, who was great in her role. Ian McKellen was also great as the voice of the disgraced bear Iorek. The final battle was cool but way too short. I would recommend the movie to anyone, just don't expect it to be an LOTR or Harry Potter. Enjoy it for what it is. Looking forward to the sequels... Don Karnage
^^ I've actually read the Golden Compass books and the first one was the only one I really liked. The second one is good too in bits and pieces but the third book was really disappointing. Its like the second and third books were written after the first one's success and they felt like typical Hollywood sequels.
