Tyler
lol really?imho CR is the only bond movie which has a soul Never said QoS had a soul or anything. It was just an enjoyable fast-paced action flick. And it had Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton in the same movie. There must've been some protest against a 11 yr old shooting and foulmouthing Yeah some stuck up critics went up in arms against Hit-Girl's action scenes and dialog. Snake
First Real Steel Image Online If residents of Detroit are being disturbed by the sound of robot fighters pummelling each other into submission, blame director Shawn Levy. He’s just kicked off shooting the near-future drama Real Steel in the US city, with Hugh Jackman as former boxer Charlie Kenton, who turns to promoting and training humanoid ‘bots when the thirst for regular human bouts dries up. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Robert Rodriguez Considering Deadpool? Fox has sent him the script… Now the LA Times has done some legwork and discovered that while sources are jibber-jabbering about the man behind Predators and the upcoming Machete, he’s only been sent the script to consider, and nothing has been formally offered at this stage

Nemo
Honestly, the only character I liked in Kickass was Hitgirl. She was the only one who kicked some a*s other than Nicholas Cage's character of course. I simply hated that ch@#$@# who played the supposed lead. What a dumbass dork. I thought he'd atleast show some character, grit and courage in the end even if he didn't have a superpower. But he had nothing and was just a jerk who tagged along and ended up in the wrong situations at the wrong time. He actually did nothing. Except that youtube video thing, he was just a side character imo. Irritated the sh*t out me. The girl who played hitgirl was such a cute lil girl! I'm surprised how she pulled off those stunts and said those words at such a tender age. There must've been some protest against a 11 yr old shooting and foulmouthing erm that was the whole concept.. actually the movie gave kick a*s a bit more spine, in the graphic novel he had a pathetic-er character. also, hit girl was beyond epic. massive kudos to chloe and her parents for the role and the approval respectively. i saw some of her interviews post movie, she looks really mature in her answering and knew what all she had to do for the film. sup bro?
Yeah some stuck up critics went up in arms against Hit-Girl's action scenes and dialog. Roger Ebert gave it a bad review. He has lost his senses with his jaw.

I guess it was the concept. , but maybe i couldn't open my mind to it. I mean he says he wants to be a superhero n stuff, but I figured that since he doesn't have any superpowers or wealth like bruce wayne, he'll find a different way of being a superhero or someone that people look up to. Then after the whole fight with those hoodlums outside that sop, I thought its probably his courage and bravery that will be his power. But after that incident, he doesn't demonstrate it even once. What's his deal? What's he trying to prove. He didn' prove anything. I couldn't figure him out :-/. What was his character basically from the graphic novel? Was there any redeeming quality about him? Was there any redeeming quality about him? havent read the novel myself, planning to order it soon but from what i have read online (torrents, message boards), in the book, the girl (who kick a*s was after, one who thought he is gay) does not fall in love with him, the romance never happens. When kick a*s admits he is not gay, she has her boyfriend beat up kick a*s and later sends a picture to his phone of her performing oral sex on her boyfriend Carl, to which our hero masturbates while crying, oscillating between feeling aroused and downright pathetic. the movie sure made him look much-much better than that. I know its late but I saw it for the first time on blu ray and that too the extended cut which clocked in at 3 hours 15 mins. F**king fantastic epic movie. Loved it. Can you guys recommend some more movies like this? Of the top of my head, King Arthur, Gladiator, Robin Hood, Braveheart, The Patriot etc . Any others. Would definitely pick up some of the really good ones on blu ray Edited June 16, 2010 by Death Stryke
