Just came back from AvP: Requiem. Sorta meh... but I liked it better than the first (which is not much of a compliment really). There's nothing you probably haven't seen before. But at least there was plenty of Aliens vs Predator action this time and Fox has finally grown balls to release R rated movies once more.

Watched the much hyped 'Trainspotting'. I wasn't so impressed, 'a group of crack addicted teenagers and their hallucinations' - not my kind of movie at all. But some of the scenes were shot brilliantly(esp the scene where

Ewan hallucinates abt da baby, man, that was so disturbing :wallbash: ) good work from the director and Ewan McGregor.

Overall - 7/10.

Watched Om Shanti Om - Total Timepass. Leave ur brains behind to enjoy this - 7/10 !

oops no :P didn't see that coming ! Not equating them at all....in fact u can't compare them like that based on ratings :D !

OSO is a pure masala flick, 7/10 is just for 'paisa vasool' u get out of that !

Depends on what you go to see in a movie. Whenever I watch bollywood movies, I watch it for sheer timepass. I pay Rs 150 for 3 hrs of entertainment, if I get that from a movie without being bored at all - its 'paisa vasool' else, if it turns out to be a tear jerking sentimental stuff, its not !

And the term 'paisa vasool' is purely subjective :wallbash:
