Tyler
^^ Hehe I usually prefer watching all these big budget summer action movies in a packed theater with the crowd cheering at all the cool moments (like the Batpod "eject" sequence from TDK). The Transformers movies (regardless of how they were) were a blast to watch that way. However for movies like Shutter Island I'd prefer a quieter/sensible audience. sup bro?
Dark City Seconding Dark City. Try Pitch Black too. The dancing was minimal during SW for sure... but yeah that happens a lot on the first day for any Tamil flick. For f**k's sake they perform "Paal abhishekam" for star's cutouts and the screen itself on the first day for tamil movies. Crazy buggers For some Rajini film's release there were stupid fans eating Sand mixed with rice as a penance/sacrifice or whatever to ensure the film succeeded. Jobless bastards. Still they were whistling, hooting and cheering and shouting "Thalaiva" in support of Yoda each time he came on screen during Episode 3. This was in Sathyam, Elite seats on first day. Of course it was the Economy section that most of the hooting was coming from. Though like some people here said - the assholes with mobile phones that just can't be switched off, they irritate me the most. There was this policeman, who probably got a free ticket for the show, who sat a few seats away frequently attending phone calls and saying loudly "OK, Saar, definitely Saaar, oook saarr" for half the movie. Besides all this, there are these kids that cry throughout the film. Agony I tell you, that's what going to the theaters has become these days. An agonising and slow way to kill yourself. Hyderbadi crowd is usually quite, usual occasional cell phone issues but not anything major. The fun is while you watch Telugu flicks. People will bring paper cutouts and are generous enough to lend you some. These are supposed to be thrown at the screen when the hero does something insanely spectacular. This is common in small theaters, I don't really feel like spending money on Telugu regional films so never head to multiplexes. It's very awesome and fun. Some people even get down on their knees if the actor is of Balakrishna caliber. Mumbai has the best crowd. Very nice, quite and friendly people. I've. on multiple occasions, accidentally occupied other empty seats. These late comers don't bother you getting up. They'll gladly exchange seats or sit in another place. Among Mumbai theaters, Chembur is f**king horrible. Those Sindhis are constantly yapping on the cell phones.
Snake
Popcorn flick are best enjoyed with the crowd cheering wildly when the batpod ejects or when it pwns the truck or when Iron Man and War Machine fight Justin Hammers Bots at the end For Inception though....Morning show....where either people arent there or are just necking and think other cant see them, but alteast the STFU and let u enjoy the movie!!! Ironman 1/2 both were fun as the crowed cheered and clapped at all the big moments. ---- i remember having just watched Sixthe sense, coming out of the theatre and nealy everyone was perplexed, like "what the feck just happened there" ... happens only with a crowd around (and thanks for the dark city idea, will watch that too; after children of menm which is 'ready')
sup bro?
Watching Wanted (Salman Khan) was fun in Mumbai. I got a stall ticket and people from the back row threw 50, 25 paise coins in front of the screen during fight sequences.

The problem is that Inception is a summer blockbuster where dialogue matters like in Shutter Island.I hope there is an 8.30am show for Inception, that was the one I caught for Dark Knight. Dark_Knight
^Not a rip off,a remake. They even recycled the songs. The two lead actors have some kind of unofficial agreement I think, the Tamil guy makes a living by acting in remakes of the Telugu lead's movies. I know that dude... That is why I put it in quotes... Just put it in the terms used by xI Gladiator Ix
