I kinda liked 300. It was awesome popcorn material. I didn't like the BR much though. Too much grain

I think right now, blue ray showcase movie is Avatar. I can't wait to get the director's cut that releases in November. Even LOTR BR I heard has a bad transfer i.e not a gr8 improvement from the DVD

I watched it. 2 and 3 are fine.

It's 1 that looks like an upscaled DVD.

Didn't enjoy the 3D, huh? Well, I sorta liked it since the movie has been shot for 3D viewing unlike poor conversion jobs like Clash Of The Titans.

However, I find the glasses a wee bit distracting.

Picture quality wise Avatar is awesome.Though I still haven't figured out why the Nav'i subtitles can't be enabled on my PS3.I like LOTR more as an overall package even though I would have preferred a better transfer of the first movie and the extended versions instead of the theatrical.

My worry with Toy Story 3D is the colours getting washed out.I don't want to watch a Pixar movie with those spectacles on.

Pixar movies on Blu ray are the best :scratchchin: Up, Wall-E, Ratatouille looked faptastic. I am frankly not a big fan of this 3D thing. I found Avatar to be washed out in 3D. The whole movie seemed much less brighter.

@Gaurav Oh yea u have the LOTR trilogy right. How about a lendy sometime? Will lend u from soem of the Blu rays I have.
