Too much grain I think right now, blue ray showcase movie is Avatar. I can't wait to get the director's cut that releases in November. Well, I sorta liked it since the movie has been shot for 3D viewing unlike poor conversion jobs like Clash Of The Titans. However, I find the glasses a wee bit distracting. theneurotoxin Posted July 4, 2010 Report Share Posted July 4, 2010 Picture quality wise Avatar is awesome.Though I still haven't figured out why the Nav'i subtitles can't be enabled on my PS3.I like LOTR more as an overall package even though I would have preferred a better transfer of the first movie and the extended versions instead of the theatrical. I found Avatar to be washed out in 3D. The whole movie seemed much less brighter. @Gaurav Oh yea u have the LOTR trilogy right. How about a lendy sometime?
