I love Shoot 'Em Up and Crank, but I don't think they belong in the same league as Rambo as far as action flicks go. SEU and Crank were hyperviolent but highly stylized... Rambo was totally raw. That's how action movies were made back in the 80s!

@Tyler:Nice find man. It could very well be an Anti-hero movie. Kinda like hulk.....just guessing

BTW, just watched Martian Child 2007 (9/10) and Feast of Love 2007 (7.5/10)

I would suggest everyone to watch Martian Child, a superb movie on all counts :wallbash:

^^ Looks like Martian Child flew under the radar. I didn't even hear about it! But looking at the IMDB page I think I should check it out. John Cusack is a great actor and IMO Amanda Peet is really hot!

my return flight promises to have michael clayton, so that's scheduled for feb 29. also did casino royale and superman returns in one night - loved them both.

need to get my hands on some of the other oscar nominees - am sitting on a 10 mbps comcast conxn and the speed makes me cry. movies download in an hour!!! so my schedule at weekend consists of download - queue up another dl - watch movie - watch the next - ad infinitum...

Don't get over enthusiastic. You are in US. Ani-piracy laws at it's best there. At times they hunt you(and likes) as mad dogs. Remove the downloads from the shared folder or, better yet purge them once you are done watching them.

Pretty much anyone who is a fan of the character will HATE the way Venom was portrayed and how much screen time he had in Spider-Man 3. I was quite disappointed because not only is Venom my favorite Spidey villian, he's my favorite character in the entire Marvel Universe! And they gave him like 15 minutes of screen time. We hardly even got a proper look at his face because Topher Grace's mug kept popping out of the symbiote every now and then...

Sam Raimi admitted that he always hated Venom and he put in the character in Spider-Man 3 only as fan service...
