The novel is so much better than the movie. But it's good as far as a tie-in goes. :fear:

How are the sequels ? Any idea ? I'll try to read the books this time around, as the english adaptation of the movies might take some more time.

It's decent, nothing great. Story is alright, dialogues range from really awful and wooden to decent. The details concerning the back-story are too long and tedious.

The pacing is interesting. More of a page turner like Agatha Christie but not as good.

Maybe that's because its translated to English ?

If you can go through the 1st one, The Girl Who Played with Fire will be a breeze. Much much better !!

Waiting for the final one to arrive. :fear:

Watched The Edge again after years. I forgot how much I love this film. Its massively underrated. Way better than its Imdb score of 6.5 would suggest. Top notch performances by Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin.

Never heard of the movie.

Gotta watch it.

Rock Confirmed For Fast Five

A few tweets and some rooting around from Collider have confirmed what's long been rumoured: Dwayne Johnson will be appearing in Fast Five, the next instalment in the Fast and Furious franchise. Ludacris and Tyrese Gibson (both from the second one) will also return to star alongside Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, for the Va-rooom and the Ker-smash!Gibson's excitable tweet reads "Major shouts to Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, & Dewayne "Rock" Johnson!! "Fast & Furious Five" Let's get em again!!", while Ludacris contributed the more sedate "Just landed in Puerto Rico. Shooting for Fast & Furious 5 is about to be underway....."So Ludacris will once again be street racer Tej Parker, and Gibson will be demolition derby champ and ex-jailbird Roman Pierce. And The Rock? Word on the street is that he's on "the right side of the law", which should put him in juicy opposition to Diesel. It's Dwayne vs Vin.

I remember reading that review. He didn't exactly hate it but was just going on about how it wasn't THAT great...

Anyways, I'll read that Inception review after I've seen the movie.

Just 3 days to go bitches!

BLASTING SI-FI FTW!

And I'm pretty sure both John Turtletaub and Jerry Bruckheimer have nothing to do with Ghost Rider.
