Chaztin
I saw " Black Hawk Down " yesterday on Blu-ray, the director doesnt let u feel even for a second or its half that this is a movie..it all feels real and great... a 7/5 movie...( Yes, 7/5 ) must watch movie and never go for pirated disc or VCD..trust DVD or BR for this movie. Movie reminded me of COD4, so I had to play COD4 yesterday..
RahulOfWar
I took my cousins to see this movie but was bombarded with verbal abuse as they couldnt come to terms with the fast pace of the movie.... The worst thing was they didnt even let me enjoy the movie But i saw the movie again and this time all alone and the movie was a complete blast... It is intense from start to end so brace yourself... Great movie and as chaztin said go for a DVD or BR if you want to enjoy the movie... Edited February 8, 2008 by rijulofwar

ghb
Watched this movie called 'Into the wild' (2007/ 8.2 rating on IMDB). I stumbled upon it 'coz I saw the soundtrack by Eddie Vedder (the lead singer of Pearl Jam (all hail)) and the story kinda reminded me of one of my other favs - The Motorcycle Diaries. So finally when the rip was out, I made sure to grab it. The movie is superb. A must watch for any one who likes the adventurous outdoors. And the songs are great too, makes it a visual and aural experience. P.S.: Interesting trivia about the movie - it is directed by Sean Penn, the lead actor reminded me of a young version of Jack Black and it has 2 oscar nominations (none for best picture/director unfortunately)

MightySkate
@ Chaz: I have Black Hawk Down on BLU and it's worth every cent. I had seen the movie a while back and it was my first bluray experience when i bought my ps3. I was a bit upset at the beginning of the movie due to the grainy effect but i checked around on some sites and they all said that Ridley Scott (director) intended it to be that way to give it a grim look and then the hi-def started kickin in as soon as the black hawks started coming The extras on the BLU disc were amazing as well. arun360
Watched The Darjeeling Limited last night - an absolute must watch for Wes Anderson fans. The usual dysfunctional family theme, very engaging plot development laced with comedy and guess what, it's set in India! Every scene is so beautifully shot accompanied by an eclectic mix of haunting background scores(from Satyajit Ray films to Rolling Stones). The 10 minute short, Hotel Chevalier is recommended viewing as there are quite a few references to it. Edited February 16, 2008 by arun360
