I don't know why there is so much hate for Twilight. I really liked the movies!

Read the books and you'll know why.

All of them are terrible. No wait, terrible is an understatement, let me rephrase that.

I would rather drag my dick across a mile of broken glass shards than read any of them again.

Now comes the part where I tell you why they suck. To be honest they are supposed to suck. The books are aimed at young adult crowd, especially girls which is why they suck. The same reason most time management casual downloadable games with an overload of pink colour do. But that's not why the books are bad.

Read on.

Reading the series is like self flagellation. I am not a saint and I hope I get absolved of my sins because of what I had to go through.

The book is about a girl, Bella. My colleague's pet guinea pig is named Bella and want to kill that little thing just because it shares a name with the bitch from Twilight.

Anyway, so this Bella falls in love with a vampire, later falls in love with a werewolf, discovers that she actually loves the vampire, marries as soon as she gets out of high school, becomes a teenage mother, gets pregnant and after shattering all records delivers the child. The werewolf then falls in love with that child, yes the goddamned child, against his will. That's how they solve the love triangle.

Stephenie Meyer, the author, literally obliterates any sort morality by writing this book for young adults if her motive is to deliver a message.

That that, my friend, is why I hate the Twilight books. I had to read them to make sure they are actually as bad as most people claim. I'm sure plenty just hate it for the sake of it.

say what? :O None of that happened in the movie. That's downright yuck!

EDIT: Also, I assume you have read the books. If so, I feel sorry for you. 2 hours is better that way :P

again......why the hate? Reasons people?

What kind of a vampire puts on lipstick and romances the actress, instead of you know doing vampire stuff like sucking blood :| ?

I initially thought the books are by stephen king and watched the first movie. I was wondering what made king write such a lousy story, when I realised it was some housewife named stephanie meyer

so you were expecting a classic Vampire movie. I got to know it's a weird love story before seeing it. Maybe that changed my experience. And about the makeup, I was wondering if it was some theatrical play or something, because all the vampires had a white powdered face (I didn't notice the lip stick)

What irritates me is the how Vampires are depicted, i understand that low amount of blood gives them a pale appearance, but this sh*t is just overboard...its just plain GAY!!

To add to that they fkin sparkle...SPARKLE!!!

again......why the hate? Reasons people?

Well first of all it disgusts me as a lover of vampire fiction lore. Even putting that aside, Twilight doesn't even attempt to disguise itself as competent writing. It's just pure Mary Sue fanfic written to appeal to an enormous market of moody teenage girls who are certain that nobody in the entire world understands the problems that they are going through. That their problems are unique and every other girl out there is "normal" except for them, and nobody "gets" them except for Stephanie Meyer and her amazing literature about the real problems of being a pubescent teen girl. I have a teenage sister so I have been subjected to enough twilight mania at me home :|

Also, obligatory comment- In my days, vampires sucked blood, not c*ck.
