You know what snake, that was the positive comment of yours abt expandables

I don't know why there is so much hate for Twilight. I really liked the movies!

I liked them too :fear:

Read the books and you'll know why.

All of them are terrible. No wait, terrible is an understatement, let me rephrase that.

I would rather drag my dick across a mile of broken glass shards than read any of them again.

Now comes the part where I tell you why they suck. To be honest they are supposed to suck. The books are aimed at young adult crowd, especially girls which is why they suck. The same reason most time management casual downloadable games with an overload of pink colour do. But that's not why the books are bad.

Read on.

Reading the series is like self flagellation. I am not a saint and I hope I get absolved of my sins because of what I had to go through.

The book is about a girl, Bella. My colleague's pet guinea pig is named Bella and want to kill that little thing just because it shares a name with the bitch from Twilight.

Anyway, so this Bella falls in love with a vampire, later falls in love with a werewolf, discovers that she actually loves the vampire, marries as soon as she gets out of high school, becomes a teenage mother, gets pregnant and after shattering all records delivers the child. The werewolf then falls in love with that child, yes the goddamned child, against his will. That's how they solve the love triangle.

Stephenie Meyer, the author, literally obliterates any sort morality by writing this book for young adults if her motive is to deliver a message.

That that, my friend, is why I hate the Twilight books. I had to read them to make sure they are actually as bad as most people claim. I'm sure plenty just hate it for the sake of it.

f**k !!.. Never knew the ending !! :O

What kind of a vampire puts on lipstick and romances the actress, instead of you know doing vampire stuff like sucking blood :| ?

I initially thought the books are by stephen king and watched the first movie. I was wondering what made king write such a lousy story, when I realised it was some housewife named stephanie meyer

Epic !!

I dunno about you guys but I enjoyed The Expendables. Maybe you guys were expecting too much from it. Yes it doesn't do anything different but its very old-school, mindless fun. Or maybe it was just the whole ambiance... packed theater... mostly all guys (I honestly have no idea why a few couples showed up)... lots of cheers especially when Ah-nuld showed up. It's not a perfect action movie but its definitely an enjoyable one. There were bits I loved and some that didn't work.

The good

- AA12 Auto-shotgun pwnage FTW!

- Last 30 minutes are freakin' awesome

- The "co-op" moves during fights

- Stallone & Statham blowing up the docks from the plane - very video game-like

- Pretty much all the fight scenes

The bad

- Shaky cam and quick cuts

- The explosions and fire effects looked bad... stick to practical effects Stallone

- Toned down violence (compared to Rambo)

- Unnecessary subplot with Jason Statham's character

Overall its a watchable movie, certainly not bad and a LOT better than the awful Predators.

Afty - watch this one instead of Predators. At least it has a better cast, way better action sequences and doesn't ruin a classic.

^^Damn! I was almost certain it would turn out good. Wanted to watch it this Monday.

Did you like the new Rambo?

So the new Rambo was like fkin awesome while this movie was utter turd. In fact if someone paid me to watch it again, I would tell them instead to donate that movie to Stallone because they obviously didn't have the budget to make the movie. Not too surprising considering they must have spent all of their budget on botox.

Ok then

peace

HAHAHAHAHAhAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhAHA. Told ya!!!

Michael Jai White Starts Work on the Sequel to 'Black Dynamite'

Freeze, turkeys! After knocking out a conspiracy that went all the way up to Richard "Tricky Dick" Nixon in The White House, blaxploitation hero Black Dynamite is looking to kick some more (and get some more) a*s. The Mirror (via Film School Rejects) spoke to actor/writer Michael Jai White who revealed that he's working on a sequel to the blaxploitation action parody Black Dynamite. White said, "I've had the idea for Black Dynamite 2 for quite a while now, and it's gonna start where Black Dynamite left off . There's lots of things we didn't get a chance to do in the first one." After pimp-slapping the First Lady, what else is there?

White wasn't exactly forthcoming with details, but did say: "You know how Black Dynamite just grows in ridiculousness? Well, this will be a fitting sequel." So who knows what kinda crazy action and jive turkeys Black Dynamite will encounter. I enjoyed the hell out of the first one, but I'll admit that after the first hour or so, it gets a bit repetitive with different variations of the same jokes. Hopefully the sequel changes things up, but keeps the edge and hilarity of the first. I mean where else are you going to hear treasured dialogue like, "Your knowledge of scientific biological transmogrification is only outmatched by your zest for kung-fu treachery!" That's just classic. Count me cautiously optimistic for this sequel.

I saw shutter island. It was okayish for me. Nothing out of the world like inception, and the twist in the end was somewhat anticipatory. I mean, you make a movie on delusions, quite apparent its going to have a twist in the end :/ But all the actors have done a swell job. Remains to be seen if DiCaprio bags an oscar this year for inception/shutter island though.

And thanks to sam and team for saving me money on expenadables. Peepli live it is then :D
