The twist at the end wasnt the main focus for SI, it was the question that gets raised right at the end that was the main kicker.

Anyway for me SI>Inception.

And yeah Leo deserves a nod for SI. I think he should have won an Oscar for The Departed. He was phenomenal in that. Anything that could overshadow Jack Nicholson overdoing everything so poorly deserves credit. :P

Go watch Peepli Live. One of the best in Indian cinema. Amazing satire and the contrasts it presents will make you think... a lot. :good:

Also, the scene with the poor farmer who keeps digging to sell soil is special for me. I've actually seen something like it in real life. :bounce:

Watched Batman : Under The Hood ... well it's worth a watch one time .... The story is a total Hush rip off. You can predict what's the story line in the first 20 mins.. (or maybe I am a big Batman fan) .

They show Ra's in the first scene and then Jason Todd is back from dead ..."Riddle me this what does Ra's Al Ghul and bringing people back from the dead have in common? Ans: THE LAZARUS PIT

... But the only thing I like in the movie is that you can see different eras of Batman comics in animated verso in .. like the subtle change in the Batman costume in five years ... also the animation style is like Batman the animated series.. THE MAJOR USP of the Movie is the joker's dialogues .... creepy and totally finny ...

specially the scene where he kills five guys in less than 10 seconds

You mean the last line Leo says where it seems he's actually regained some of his sanity and acceptance of events and that he hasn't relapsed?

regarding that,

does it mean that he was sane and acted that way to get his memories erased out, through lobotomy ? That is, he did not want to continue living thinking himself as a monster ?

Yea, he didnot relapse and fully accepted what he did i.e killed his wife. He could not live with the pain and agony of it any longer and decided its better to die. So many scenes in the movie give subtle hints. When you see it a 2nd time you realize. The way the guards and orderlies treat him, how nervous the guards are around him etc etc

Peepli Live - very nice. The attention to detail is great. The acting is excellent - esp Raghuvir Yadar. He's in a class of his own. It's a great satire on the media and takes potshots at the police, politics, IAS. However, the end is not wrapped up nicely although it does have some effect.
