Funnily enough.....my gf and i (to some extent) echo the same sentiments....we watched shutter island a week before going for inception; and...... And yeah SI is soooooooooo much better than Inception. with you man, Inception was a good movie, but not really the best movie ever bug it has bitten. hell it was not the best movie of Nolan even. the plot was too messed up (no, i dont mean it was big for my head, it was just convoluted, at some points, dare i say just for the heck of it). the worst part is, with its success hollywood suits have started to believe that making movies having mindf**k plots just cause it makes people come watch the movie more than once is a trend in making :| read it in some article. FML if that happens. I love f**ked up endings but they have to have some sense, not saying inception lacked it totally but it will be sad if it breeds a hoard of "me too" movies that end up being laughably bad. yet to watch shutter island though.. You'll enjoy it if you don't read about it online before watching. 4/5 SI: I started watching it and got bored as it was too slow. Looks like i have to try to watch it again. I even found the real pictures of Emily Rose before she got possessed and after.. I felt terribly sorry for her and ofcourse verrrrrryyy scared..
