and the soundtrack just after the movie ends

you gotta hear this song in 5.1 sound in the movie totally awesome. :gunsmilie:

Finally! Someone else who appreciates the soundtrack to the Max Payne movie. The end credits were badass! Also check out the track Room 405 (also by Metsuo) from the movie.

Anyway, watched Afterlife again... It's so much fun!

BTW, also watched MACHETE. Found a decent quality t*****t and couldn't resist, considering that the movie won't ever be released here.

Anyway, I was quite underwhelmed. As a cheap B-grade movie, yes it does work. It's almost like watching a cheap Mithun movie. But it's certainly not as much fun as Desperado or Planet Terror. Machete is barely there in the movie and is hardly as badass as the trailers made him to be. Most of the screen time is taken up by the supporting cast... understandable since they are all bigger actors than Danny Trejo. The gore and nudity is all there but there are obvious cuts in the R-rated version. I would love to see an Unrated version. The best thing about the movie is Michelle Rodriguez in skin tight leather pants, an eye-patch and bra brandishing various types of guns. Alba was hot as usual but her nude scene is a f**king tease.... and they used a body double for Lindsey Lohan.

It was actually sad to see Robert DeNiro being reduced to a bumbling comedian instead of a bad guy... totally wasted. In fact all the bad guys were goofy (including Steven Seagal) and hardly posed any threat to Machete. There are some inventive kills and WTF moments, but too few and far between and the R-rating seemed to get in the way.

Overall it's an enjoyable movie but not as badass or awesome as everyone expected it to be. The Expendables was better in comparison and as far as modern grindhouse films go, Robert Rodriguez's own Planet Terror was far better than this.

Yup. Wait for the unrated version.

BTW, the trailers showed all the cool parts (especially the red band trailer). So all you really get is some talky scenes in between.

Best line in the movie...

Machete don't text.

The cheesy porno style music that starts playing whenever something naughty is about to happen is hilarious!

Yeah I am dead sure its the theater. My cousin saw this at PVR Priya and he said he couldnt make out half the move, all dark and useless 3D. I saw this at PVR Citywalk and it was crisp as you want. Brilliant 3D. I guess some theaters are using projection system that doesnt work too well with 3D films.

It was very crisp and the 3D was spectacular in my theater as well. Watched the movie twice already. Wouldn't mind watching it again.

Been listening to the OST since morning... awesome stuff.
