It's a shame animated movies are thought of as kiddy movies but these are simply superb - Cars, Toy Story, Incredibles, Monsters Inc, Up, and my favourite of the new crop, Wall-E. What a co-incidence. I too watched cars today. Freaking awesome movie. Loved it. Found it better than most animated movies out there. Also , i am waiting for Tangled. Looks sweet! Wall-E started wonderfully. Very slapstick, gave a Charlie Chaplin humor vibe. Then came Eve and I was fine. Then came the humans and OH MY f**king GOD!!! Why the dialogues?? Pixar wanted a commentary against consumerism and the movie which started so well devolved to a typical Pixar movie. And I watched it while munching a 'Filet 'o' Fish' from McDs. I am not a fan of the original TF universe, so I didn't have any references or benchmarks. Although I agree , the 2nd movie was a pile of turd.
