Saw Borat last night.. (I know I know..It's late in life but I finally saw it!) and realised now where one of my friend and bro had borrowed a few of their day to day funny phrases from.. This movie can make even a nervous break down case laugh loud.. It's insanity and madness at an epic level.. But strangely so.. I felt bad when Borat's heart broke in the movie.. I believe I can find tragedy even in comedies.. Lolz.

They scrapped those plans for Monsters Inc 2. Pixar is also doing a fairy tale animation called Brave to release along with monsters inc 2 in 2012. A first for pixar really. The cars sequel is totally unnecessary IMO. Infact, I would like a sequel to the incredibles.

Not really.Pixar has been releasing shorts with every theatrical release for as long as I can remember.

The scene with the chicken made me feel very sad :(

It's one of the funniest movies ever but I prefer the shorter Borat clips from Da Ali G Show. Check them out on YouTube.

I found Borat to be pretty disgusting and some of the scenes were really :samui:. It wasn't all that funny either. However i'm not surprised it became such a big hit though. Americans love to laugh at the middle easterns

Just watched Due Date : 6.5/10

Its a solid comedy movie. Not as funny as The Hangover. It had a lot of gags and a quite a few laughs. I thought the concept and storyline was very original and different and it was pulled off superbly. There usually is atleast 1 week part of comedy movies, this movie didnt have it. A good mix of both emotion and comedy.

Love the scene they get stoned :D

Definitely requires the fine eye. The only real weak sequence in Pulp Fiction was the one with Uma Thurman. I rated it 7/10 too, I think and thats despite liking it.

There's nothing in the film that could be missed if you don't pay too much attention. So yeah definitely doesn't requires a fine eye. At least not mine.

And my 7/10 rating is only for the performances. On the Direction, narrative front I'd rate it lower.

I think you missed the point of Borat. The joke was on America.

I watched the movie in theaters in the US and everyone was silent during the national anthem scene. I even saw some folks walk out.

+1. Borat is one of my all time fav comedy movie. Some of the scenes are too good, like the one where borat and his friend damage the artifacts in the civil war shop - and the dinner scene

No its not, the ending was great...you just have to interpret it, its about evolution and man's reliance on tools nothing else.

The whole movie had so much going on but almost everything was portrayed in a poetic manner with minimal dialogues....this way its story is open to your opinions and imagination.
