khanak Posted March 15, 2008 Report Share Posted March 15, 2008 (edited) Just saw Juno yesterday. A really nice movie though IMO a bit over hyped. A good movie no doubt but nothing that great. What I didnt like with the movie was how unnaturally cool Juno was in the beginning. There are some really touching parts towards the end but some bits were really not that believable. 3.5/5 American Gangster - Saw this one some time ago but was too lazy to write about it. A really well made movie, I really liked it. 3.75/5 Aviator - Saw it again yesterday. An inspiring and very well made movie based on a true story. I really loved it 4/5 American Pie Beta House - Ugggh the American Pie franchise has either lost its charm or I have outgrown it. It started going downhill after the first two movies and now its nothing more than a film that kids in the 5th grade can watch and tell their friends that they saw boobs. khanak Posted March 15, 2008 Report Share Posted March 15, 2008 man u guys have to stop over anazlysing sh*t so much.....i used to love this thread before all u guys started picking movies apart like know-it-all reviewers....i wonder if u guys actually enjoy any of the movies PS: not aimed at anyone in particular....just read 10-15 pages that i had missed since i last came in here peace IMO discussing a movie and what you liked and did not like about it is half the fun right? Man In The Box Posted March 16, 2008 Report Share Posted March 16, 2008 Watched Jodha Akbar today I found the movie pretty good and Hrithik's acting was once again really nice. Story wasn't great but the action sequences were pretty okay. It is nothing really great when compared to the Hollywood battle movies but since not many Hindi movies are of this genre, Jodha Akbar has done a decent job. Way to ham it up and ruin a decent film. The bowling alley bit was almost cringe inducing. The only thing that saved it was the three blue collar dudes that show up.
