Being lazy to describe it all so posting Facebook status ....

got bludgeoned by the 3D-'Daft Punk'-'Uncanny Valley' awesomeness and a dilapidated script that is Tron: Lebowski.

And, Naked by Mike Leigh is the best Brit movie ever made.

They say British movies are not as good as Hollywood movies, but i have seen the good only so i woulnt know...

Btw A Clockwork Orange is one of the best.Everything abt the movie is so fookin' unreal.

Saw -

Get him to the greek: 2 hours wasted on this. The movie has its moments, but most of the times, its just not funny. Especially that whole jeffrey joke - it was silly and boring. 5/10.

Repo Men: Good, nothing great. The movie sorta gives an insight to where the world is heading, and its not a good thing. Sad movie. 7/10.

OMG.. If I could have taken out a rep from your account, instead of adding one, I would have done that!

Just back from a screening of Tron: Legacy.. Nice movie.. Awesome VFX & superb music.. Story kinda reminded me of Matrix, though less convoluted ! Def worth a watch at least once, plus would look killer on bluray !

Edit: OMG ! Forgot to add.. the chicks ! :panic: :panic: ..

That's cause The Matrix copied the digital world concept from Tron 1 :P

Its only logical that Tron Legacy builds upon the original.

And I'm sure that you now have a latex fetish after watching the movie

You guys do know that Playboy just did a TRON special shoot right? If not, Google's your best friend :naughty:

Disney's marketing team is also going all out down under. Check this out, an interactive skateboard ramp :O :

VIDEO:

Old-time skaters ENESS jumped at the chance to bring skateboarding into the future by blending interactivity and high-tech mastery for the Tron Legacy premiere.

Each rider is equipped with an ipod and our custom-built app to measure their air time and trigger graphics whilst in the air and on landing.

As the skateboards travel across the ramp the lights and visuals change to reflect the tricks and wipeouts.

saw Valkyrie yesterday.. Its about the german soldier that tried to assassinate Hitler....the movies moves at very decent pace ...it focuses on the plot only....but some parts of movie though simple but really stand out ...and it kinda was emotional in a way...there is this scene where the Stauffenberg(tom cruise) comes back to his home for brief moment after being seriously injured in a battle(loosing an eye and hand) .....in just abt few minutes he gets to see his wife and children ...sirens are heard as warning for air raid by enemies...he goes with his family in a small bunker built in his house only...they just looking at each other while lights are blinking and earth shaking as bombardments are going on...that scene was so well done...it had lot of meaning to it.......I really liked the movie...and i must say it is definitely worth a watch once.

Street-Legal Tron Lightcycle for sale

lightcycle.jpg

Toymaker Parker Brothers has created a limited edition of five Lightcycles - yup, the ones from Tron - and is selling them for $35,000 a pop on ebay.

The bikes are apparently built to the exact specs of those from the movie. They're all basically black, but then each has an accent color - red, blue, yellow, green or orange - which glow neon from behind frosted plexiglass. A glow at the back aims to emulate the movie bike's light trail.

Parker Brothers has a bit of experience at this sort of thing already, having recently also sold a Batpod - Batman's motorbike from The Dark Night - on eBay. Unlike that one, though, the lightcycles are apparently completely legal for use on the roads.

The Lightcycle wheels are custom made 22 x 12-inch dual hub-less wheels with custom made tires, and the frame is two-inch cold rolled and boxed hardened steel with carbon fiber/fiberglass bodies.

It's being built for everyday use, says Parker, and comes with a choice of a high powered electric motor or gasoline motor and transmission. There's even an authentic-looking Tron helmet, although this isn't actually DoT approved.

"Be the envy of everyone who sees this bike, as it will make motorcycles as you now know them seem like antiques on the road," says the company.

All bikes will be available within 6-8 weeks of contract, and buyers can even watch the process of their own individual bike via YouTube. With two and a half days to go, there have been 12 offers already, so it looks as if there might be a bit of a fight.

errr...wow ?
