erm.. i meant that with KC's avatar as the base . a massive improvement on that. Listen bollywood never had a darth of money. the crap churned out by YRF and any movie introducing a producer's son is a good indication for that. The investors never had a faith in a superhero movie doing any good at the box office so we never ventured in that. Krissh, if nothing else managed to turn a few heads. and say what you may, the GFX of that movie were decent, more so when you remember it came out 5 (?) years ago.

:|

KC's avatar does it better :|

Krish definitely wasn't as bad as many people are saying it was. I agree it was nothing like a Spiderman or a Batman but much better than the other attempts made by Bollwyood to create a SuperHero film. Hell I think this was the first real superhero film made by Bollywood.

And yeah Bollywood has definitely improved a lot over the past few years. The emotional drama, etc has reduced to a lot of extent as evident from movies like Wake Up Sid, Break ke Baad, etc. The real over-rated movies are those South Indian Rajnikanth hits ( Robot being an exception ).

You seriously think all rajni hits are over rated. i say all of them had set a culture in south and that is not over rated, that is skill and perfection.

I tried watching Shivaji(my first and only southindian film) a bit...oh boy what a torture....but still I have respect for rajnikant coz he really is a great entertainer for south indian ppl.....

As for bollywood films I stopped watching them a year back........Krissh would get a negative rating from....

Just saw Alien and Aliens in high def..

Alien was boring and uninteresting to me.. maybe at the time of its release it was something new and original, but now it seems just lame.. Aliens on the other hand was full of awesome.. James Cameron :majesty:

I Saw the Devil

Watched this over the weekend. Stunning film, but then that's to be expected with the kind of pedigree involved:

Kim Ji-woon (Tale of Two Sisters, A Bittersweet Life)

Choi Min-sik (Oldboy)

Lee Byung-hun (A Bittersweet Life)

Best serial killer film I've seen since The Chaser. Everyone needs to watch this. Highly Recommended.

Watched it last night. Truly amazing movie!

Found out later that the movie was banned in Korea for its violence and some scenes had to be cut to make it releasable.

Even after those cuts, the movie was very violent and had some downright disturbing scenes.

Yea, I was amazed when I found out this was the cut version :O

Thank God the cannibalism was obvious enough.

Edit: And Choi Min-sik, WTF. What acting.. :O

How violent and disturbing is it? I dont really have the stomach for torture porn. :|

Some sections of it skirt torture porn. Just the first 15 minutes will destroy you :|

But then that's the whole point of the movie: its a thesis on revenge. What's with Koreans and revenge. We've already had Park Chan-wook's revenge trilogy (that Oldboy was a part of).

I liked this much more than Black Swan.
