Bulovski
Why is there a bedsheet on the window? You're hiding the neighbours or hiding from them?

mixke
40" IMO, the room size seems fine for 40". Also, you said you won't be buying another one for long time so better get the bigger one. Why is there a bedsheet on the window? You're hiding the neighbours or hiding from them? lol, you were not supposed to only look at the pic

reddevilgautam
whenever u r in doubt over the screen size to buy, ALWAYS go for the larger size bcoz if u go for smaller u will repent all the time that why didn't u buy the larger one...but if u buy the bigger one u will never think "why didn't I buy the smaller one" coz u will quickly adjust to the bigger screen size... lot of people i know have gone for smaller sizes only to repent later and then sell their TVs to go for a bigger one... DevilsOwn
Couple of important questions to answer, that will help make you that decision: 1. Why is one speaker looking the other way? is he upset with the rest of the room? 2. How often does the maid come in to clean the room? it seems she is overdue. 3. how the hell do you sit on the bed and use the comp? 4. are those candies in the box, above the box, thats above the other box? Once you have answer to these questions, the answer to your main question would be as simple as is 40>32.
Quickdraw
IMHO Bigger the better, TV is not something that you don't upgrade these things that often so get the biggest you can afford.
Swayam
Just got a 40" LCD and my room isn't that big either. “Gaming is having a ridiculously large T.V. in a one room apartment" - Kevin Butler

Cash
I Would say 32' TV because 1) When you go for a 40' your room looking upon your photo will get ridiculously Conjusted 2) Gaming in a 40' TV is no fun when you sit just 40 Cm away from it. Cash
Dude the TV sitting over there in the pic must be some 17' one just imagine a 40' TV coming over there it will be a Whale in a Swimming Pool. While playing in 40' TV 5-6 feet Distance is a must to get the Full out of it. i dont think he have a space for it over there in the room.
Noctis
A 37" would be the best if they are still releasing it at that size.
tech_wreck
Go for the 40", mate. You won't regret it. As someone mentioned earlier, I've never heard anyone cribbing that their TV was "too big".
