ALPHA17 Posted March 30, 2013 Report Share Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) And PSU was bought locally from Kolkata for 2500, for the immediate purpose of testing whether my existing PSU was faulty or not(in the period when I had a flaky GPU), and with the intention of replacing my 7 year old local SMPS at home in future. Good to know, if only enough people realized the importance of a good SMPS, the base quality and accessibility shall climb. BTW, where did you install that Spectre fan? A pic displaying the cabinet with that fan would be nice. Double duty of front intake and circulating air over the hard-drive bays. Alpha, that Spectre LED fans, look slick!! How much for those and which website? If you get a chance to get it from Bombay, Bangalore or Chennai they should set you back by about ~1000/- -->1100/- (on street). I got it from flipkart thanks to a paucity of choice in Delhi. Those fan slots on the side panel have huge holes and will suck in too much dust. I'm afraid my sister will have to use the whole thing covered, until I get some fans for it. And what about that design in the front-bottom, in which even bigger holes are exposed(though not directly)? Weird design.
