What you bought this week

I bought it from univercell. He quoted whooping 27K for nexus. And SGS2 is IMO too 30K.

I wanted to buy through HDFC EMI option only. :fear:

Spec wise nexus S has somewhat better RAM amount and 2.3 stock. And May be it's google's so continuous updates.

My nokia 2505 was broke after 3 years of "Tod-Phod" usage and wanted a phone urgently, So As per my budget I had narrowed it down to 3 phones.

1) Black

2) Nexus S

3) I9003

Got a quote 0f 27K for Nexus S, that too was not in stock. And I would had to wait for 3 weeks at-least. So univercell guy was obviously quoting my "baba-aadam ke zamaane ki price" for it.

Was not impressed with i9003 while comparing with black's screen and design. and got to learn yesterday that i9003 has some firmware issues.

So went with Black finally.

But I am totally satisfied with Black mate, super sleek phone it is really.

Auto rotate is somewhat slow IMO compared to nokias and HTC.

No dedicated cam key. that too is one small dis-advantage IMO for frequent cam users.

Sound speaker is crisp, but not loud. But my M2 and alpha in-ears sound awesome.

WiFi Direct is super.

Usage is pretty simple due to android really. It's my first smart-phone. and first android too. Have not faced any issues in setting stuff.

Battery is good too imo. fetched 36 hours approx with heavy usage of WiFi, games, music and internet.

stand-by battery life, i guess would be 48-60 hours. have not checked it yet.

Nice, specially the battery life.

Slightly OT - but how's BW Alpha ? How does it fare with the likes of EP 630/Marshmallow ? Any comparison between the sub 1k IEMS ?

Awesome. definitely better then PL11 and even then EP-630. Do not have marshmallow. So no idea about it. Bass is balanced and not all over the place which is teh main characteristic of budget (500-700) IEMs. I found sound-stage quite good and wide. Acoustic sounds are simply awesome for again this price range.

check out review at TE, the guy has given good review. He has compared alphas with Mee M9.

You did not visit my thread at TE for pre-order of alpha ?

Le :chair: , aur le :chair:, aur tapli bhi kha :slap:

Hehe. Yeah. But no CC bro. :|

BTW, PristineNote sells BW as well right ?

Edit: TE is throwing errors since yday.

If you are a bass lover none of the IEM's would satisfy you , I had NuForce N7EM which many said had terrific bass but i was still looking for more

I do enjoy bass in trance etc., but would like a more neutral sound. EP630 is a bit overbassy IMO. Haven't tried any NuForce till now.
