Where did you source it from.

This.

And any recommendations on a good BD-ROM drive? As in, which manufacturer is most reliable. I figure that a BD-ROM in desktop is a good enough BD-player (due to RF I mean).

those who are asking from where the player is

u can get from amazon.de or uk and source it through sns total including customs will be 11 k and u can make it region free by applying Australian firmware , if u r in Australia or some one who u know get that player directly from there its region free in Australia.

Great player Alekh! But why oh why Totall Recall, its a stupid movie! Except for Sharon in that

Nice one motabhai and PS.

Motabhai how much customs on BDP? total cost? And link pls.

Congrats guys for awesome purchases.

@Alekh, what is the cost of BRP?

congo alekh.....

how much /.//./.

Thanks guys. Got it from AMZ UK (just search for Toshiba BDX3200). It's available for as low as 77gbp (was 65 gbp a week earlier, missed it), but I ordered from AMZ directly as there are a number of refurbished pieces being sold at lower prices by Marketplace sellers.

So total cost was 87GBP (from AMZ UK, shipped to SnS UK warehouse) + 3116 shipping + 2003 (customs). In all, worth the price. Runs damn quiet, only the startup time is a bit of an hassle (15 scs or so).

Bhai starting from next week, I'm again going to a no-name place with a population of hardly 15 thousand people, so no, no show-offs for the next 6 months (apart from another one coming in 3-4 days :P)

Also keep in mind that the official Australian firmware is no more region free, so if anybody is getting this, download the firmware from the URL I linked in the original post.

Anyway, gotta run. Expendables 2 in an hour !

@PSbhai: Awesomesauce ! :D

And I bought the same blu ray player for 6.5k :P

DAFUQ why did Alekh got it for twice the price then?

Fatman got wrong end of a deal :panic:

Pretty sure because he didn't pay for the shipping and customs. Must have carried himself or somebody might have carried for him. Aman ?
