Pretty sure because he didn't pay for the shipping and customs. Must have carried himself or somebody might have carried for him. Aman ?

Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2

ofcourse I carried it myself one for me and one for cycle, paid around 190 euros for both. :P

At dartys and nope you have to search for it, I think this model is eol.

and you have to flash a firmware to make it RF then you can change region as many time as you wants

Told ya beech ! :P

Where did you buy it in paris and is it RF out of the box?

And also can you buy it any of the electronicss/ hypermarkets in paris or did you have to search for it?

It's not RF anywhere now (earlier was in Oz), but check the URL I linked in the original post. Small 30MB download, flashable via USB and takes just 1 min !

Yeah, this model is nearly EOL now but none of the new players can be made RF (and no Australian models are RF anymore), so it's either this or modded Oppos for a starting price of 20k (but they are damn awesome) or some Chinese ones (forgot the site) which a Banglore company sells, but again with a price of 18k plus.

Was browsing through Landmark waiting for somebody when spotted some awesome offers on books. Many GNs/Fiction/Non-fiction were heavily discounted and/or there was an offer giving you 3 books for the price of 2. I grabbed these:

Got The New Yorker Collection + 500 Essential GNs Guide + Chicken with Plums from Landmark. Not only was there a 50% discount on these (checked online before buying), but they were part of 3 in 2 offer as well --> Double Profit !

The New Yorker Collection is huge, as huge as The Batman Files, and thicker. All the cartoons are there in the CDs as well !

Other ones:

500 GNs Guide is a steal, specially considering it's pretty voluminous and is in all colored glossy pages ! I browsed through it in a short while and all suggestions are organized categorically, with umpteen info.

The Comic Book History of Comics is by the same guy who wrote Action Philosophers. Needless to say, it was on my must-buy list.

Marjane Satrapi needs on intro. She defined a genre with Persepolis.

Eh ?

Goodread, bookworm's heaven. Google, register, add as friend, ????, profit ?

A quick question alekh bro, was there any discount on tintin/asterix?

Not a reader of either, so don't really remember. But discounts were there on practically everything, from fiction to GNs to Diary of a Wimpy Kid to Archies to Amar Chitra Katha, so I guess Asterix/Tintin won't be left out.
