MarketTantrik
It will cost me much more than 3499, though. While I ranted about the hike, my wife calmly said, "If you can buy games despite such a hike, then gold prices shouldn't bother you." A trip to Tanishq this weekend is planned. For this, fk u EA you greedy bastids. Epic!
piper
Epic! I know. Axe own foot doesn't even come close. She was looking at some jewelry online & she calmly doubled her budget on the spot. I hope some of you are doubting the truth here, I wish I could doubt it too :| .

piper
Yeah. I'm wondering how much more considering DLCs haven't been announced for anyone but Origin. Also, your wife is awesome. On another note, how many of your friends are taking the plunge? Thank you Rishi for reminding me about DLCs. I'd totally forgotten that. Now I can feel even worse. Thanks again. On topic : Premium cost ~Rs. 2700 last time. Suffice to say, I'l expecting to pay around 7k for Battlefield 4 : The complete experience. And they could've had a Premium edition at launch itself for like 5k, I'd buy that instead. But no, EA dem greedy pigs. Bastids. Also, none of my friends here are planning to do a day 1 buy from retail. Folks outside India pre-ordered long back. Even I'm looking for any alternative method to pre-order. Once other retailers announce pre-order bonuses & stuff, I might change the order to a different retailer than Flipkart.

harjas
None taken. It's the game I've been most looking forward to all year. Next in line is GTA5 for PC. And due to multiplayer component, playing alongside friends, can't delay the purchase. It will cost me much more than 3499, though. While I ranted about the hike, my wife calmly said, "If you can buy games despite such a hike, then gold prices shouldn't bother you." A trip to Tanishq this weekend is planned. Solitaire
Bought (see I buy things too ) these V-Moda Crossfade LPs for $75 on an Amazon Gold Box deal. Used to be ~$130 before that. They sound amazing after a few days of burn in. Waaaaay better than shitty Beats that cost a few times more. Got ones that match my car's color scheme The handles and other tabs on the box have a leather-finish feel to them. You've gotta cut the little ribbon on the right to open it. Inside is another leather-like hard shell that serves as the headphones' carrying case shaped like an exoskeleton outta Crysis And you open it to see a felt lined case that matches the headphone color scheme you choose. Comes with kevlar-coated cables, a 3-button mic cable for use with smartphones, a carrying clip to hang it from your bag and a 1/4" plug/adapter. Lots of metal, very little plastic, great build quality and the headband can be twisted quite a bit without breaking or permanently deforming. Steel frame, very little plastic and all the cords are Kevlar coated and tangle free. None of that thin plasticky stuff / cables that tangle up or break here. ALPHA17
^^ Raspberry Pi, congrats Shantz. What are you going to use it for? Edited July 5, 2013 by ALPHA17
Shantz
^^ Will offload some menial jobs to the pi like some of uptime scripts and a voice commands module for the TV. Pi also has better CEC support than the U2 so commands would work better. U2 will be used for more experimental work that I do on a daily basis.
