Finally got my dream PC (i came from the p4 era :) ):

 

CPU : Intel C2Q Q9450 @2.66GHz

CPU Cooler : TRUE 120 (120mm Scythe)

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6

RAM : 4GB (2x2GB) G.Skill DDR2 @ 1066MHz 5-5-5-15

OS: Vista Ultimate x64

MONITOR : Dell SP2208WFP

HDD : 500GB Seagate+640GB WD SATA HDD

CABINET : CoolerMaster Cosmos 1000

GFX card : EVGA 8800GTS 512MB (G92)

VGA Cooler : Thermalright HR-03GT (92mm fan)

SMPS : Corsair TX 750W

Logitech MX518 & KB

Mousepad : SteelSeries QCK (medium)

Sony DVD-RW SATA x 2

It's so smooth i can play a dvdrip, a 720p movie and tanscode a 720p movie to mpg all at the same time :thumbsup:

when i bought my rig, it was the fastest dual core in my neighborhood. now when ever i do number crunching or video encoding processes, i can hear the processing threads lyk moving inside the cpu... krrr...krr..kr..zz.. its totally craptastic at d moment.

 

congrats mighty! btw how much for the monitor?? do u guys recommend dell or samsung??

@Rahul:

Monitor will cost you Rs. 16,700 (incl tax) and comes with a 5yr on-site warranty from Dell. Currently the monitors that Samsung has in the 22" range is less than impressive to say the least. Some of their monitors don't even have a DVI port :)

If you're looking at 22" the Dell is a definite buy. Even if the screen is glossy, you won't see it as soon as the pc starts running (mind you i'm sitting in a well-lit room with a light source behind me).
