Meh diesel is absolutely meh on honda city, no driving pleasure at all and the sound. Should have gone for a diff car if diesel was priority, petrol is where the car shines.

Congrats Black Angel

Not true. Sound ain't much. Driving is quite good. Drive a Verna and then drive a city and you will see the difference. IMO only Vento surpasses City in driving pleasure. But, then the A.S.S of a VW group product is another story.

I have driven city diesel extensively and nope it is nowhere near to a perfect motor, good for city driving maybe, but just does not warrant the 13 lacs price, and yes the mtor sound is a lot more then rapid and Vento. Verna is not a car, it is just eye candy :P

My daily driver is a city petrol, and that is where city shines.

Now, you can't compare a 118 BHP motor with a 100bhp one. Of course petrol will triumph it any day. I have driven it till 145kmph and I didn't felt any issue with performance. Could have gone further but considering road conditions didn't.

Btw, if an Altis can command a 17 lac price with an inferior motor to City and with bare bone features then why can't city. Plus very few people buy top model which is overpriced. V model is the most VFM if you can get it considering the waiting period.

Isn't V the top model.

Would have loved if they had a VGT in the car, as i said there are minor quirks, but if diesel is the weapon of choice, City is probably a car i won't buy. Toyota is pretty much again overpriced every place, fortuner is so expensive and what does it actually have?

Keeping Aside the a*s, which is subjective to dealer, Nothing beats a Vento in Diesel in this segment, Absolutely nothing. City diesel as name suggests is best left on city roads :P

Congrats Black Angel

I've drove both City diesel and petrol and yes city petrol is smooth and silent but I didn't noticed any big difference except a little more vibration. I'll use my swift petrol for city use Honda City only when i have to go Delhi because i keep going Delhi every other week :P

Congrats on the car sagar!

Thanks bro :D

Congrats Sugar! Nice color. Pics don't justify it.
