WE all were also talking abt the highest maximum possible volume.... on my b&o and z5500..both....no dist..nothing..perfect sound reproduction.... Haha, no worries, the more expensive equipment perform with a lot more finesse compared to the cheaper ones on high/max, that's what I was trying to say. I have an SBS 2.1, (Creative), and the sound on maximum is offensive as hell, and not enjoyable at all. The higher quality systems will obviously have higher fidelity. But the same song on my bose system sounds crystal clear at max volume. They don't make you pay that much more for nothing.
