My new acquisitions

:hi2: Always wanted to go for W series bro for the higher panel bits and thus better picture, but had to settle for S series. Probably being a side effect of being in a recessionary economy.

The Bravia's are a great buy, dont know about the HT system, though I personally dont like all in one box kind of solution.

The prices seems to be almost equal to that of India.

The HT system came in the bundle. The DVD player is actually pretty good. It has component output and supports progressive scan and HDMI. It upscales DVDs. It has USB input support so you can play digital audio and video files through it. It also has TOSLINK input so I can hook up my console and enjoy 5.1 surround sound.

Prices almost equal to India, but why the 400 Series MT? You could have got the 450 Series, with 100 Hz Motion Picture :wallbash:

But still, hats off, :wallbash: Excellent buy!

My l00t:

PoP - PS3 from Game.co.uk - 25 GBP NO CUSTOMS

Creative EP-830 Earphones - INR 1125 - From mediahome.in thru TE :nerves:

Cheap cheap cheap.

100 Hz motion makes sense if you are gonna hook the TV with your PC. Otherwise its terrible for movies since it tends to flatten the depth of the movie print quality and messes with the framerate. Thats why I felt it better to go for the lower priced 400 series.
