Did u play through all the legends challenges and training sessions...there's a lot of depth to this game once u know how to bowl and bat properly...mindless slogging wont get u anywhere in a multiplayer game...

Dude, the game is awesome. Play the tutorials or read the manual :P .

:sigh:

ill giv it more time. i still think ea 07 is the better game, gameplay wise.

my main gripes tho are not with the way the game is played.. but with the way the game handles itself.. the animations are just absurd. while batting, it does not feel like i'm hitting a shot. it's jus some random bat movement and the ball is struck.

also, what is up with the camera angles..?? running, replays..

mainly, for me, the players should have..yno.. momentum..like in tennis..this one is jus soo dam fugly. and we thought the tennis online was pathetic.. matchmaking on this is even worse. seriously.. and no in game voice chat..? in 2009..??!!

bah.

no more OT.

@ MT : nice. waiting to hear impartial (if that is even possible) impressions. n m sure ur gona post this in the apple thread as well :P

Nice. Newbie question though, isn't it CDMA? Also, impressions?

Its CDMA.

First of all: The Sprint 3G network is fan-freaking-tastic. Internet speeds are better than most 2 Mbps lines in India.

The phone itself is a bit unusual. Its a slider with a full QWERTY keyboard, but its much smaller and lighter than the iPhone. The build quality is not as good as the iPhone because of the choice of plastic for the whole device, including the screen. Speaking of the screen, its the same multi-touch capacitive touch screen as the iPhone with the same resolution but it has a smaller size. This makes the display crisp and vibrant and better than the iPhone's.

Battery life is quite poor, so I managed to snag a second battery from Sprint, free of charge.

I'm totally loving the QWERTY keyboard. Its so much better than using the iPhone's touchscreen. My typing speeds and accuracy have improved by at least 50%.

Te Palm app catalog is very sparse, with no games yet. But Sprint has thrown in some nifty freebies like Sprint turn-by-turn navigation, Sprint TV and Nascar and NFL apps with video, all free. I love the fact that it has an official Twitter and Pandora client. Pandora over Sprint's 3G is absolutely brilliant with zero drops in NYC, even when moving around the city (except tunnels).

The homebrew is very active with some great apps released for the Pre, including two terrific Google Voice clients. Since I have a Google Voice account, the homebrew clients and Sprint's 3G quality are a splendid combination.

Was looking for it since long time. Flipkart had it dirt cheap and shipped it very quickly though they used some no name courier (ST Couriers)
