congrats on the bike!well i heard from few owners that the bike doesnt have the power it shuld nor does it handle very well.the tyres are th biggest complain.i would prefer a apache over it...but hey evrythng has its pros and cons....

cheers.

R15 is a very powerful machine ! Its rear tyres are developed after intensive research by Yamaha track racing team n MRF ! they are new rubber compound thts soft n provides extra grip compared to thicker tyres tht ppl believe are better !

IN reality types thicker thn 300/18, heavily affects the cornering capacity, speed, handling n milage of the bike !

Engineers at yamaha are not idiots, they gave those tyres to d bike for a reason ! since the height of bike is less the tyres suit best for it !

R15 is all about performance n thts it !

I did a stoppie on r15 at d speed of 60 n the moment i pressed d brakes it stood at the very spot....i guess tht shows the grip part !

And if u think apache is better thn........

To celebrate our rebirth, a little bit of nostalgia:

Clockwise from top left

1. Legend of Zelda: Collectors Edition (GameCube)

2. MarioKart Double Dash (just had a blast with my colleague for the past hour) (GameCube)

3. Super Smash Brothers Melee (GameCube)

4. Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age (GBA/NDS)

5. Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (NDS)

All items listed are used and purchased from Gamestop. Managed to score a 10% discount as well.

maybe they have only ridden r1's and hayabusa's which is why they don't find the power adequate.......... and i think handling is the best..... the skinny tires don't affect the ride in any way........ the only thing they spoil is the looks(about which i don't care much cause the bike looks awesome overall).....

:first:

lol !!!

U heard opposite of what the bike actually is.

Performance wise, the rear tire has the best grip compared to all indian bikes.

And the bike is pretty powerful ! U wont feel like giving up even at 130 kmph !(personal exp)

well those werent my opinions...but thats what i was told by some of the bike lovers who bought it...

anyways it might have the power but somehow i dont like its design...its looks like a modded bike....but thats a personal point of view.....

cheers.

i think he meant naked bike look like the FZ16... R15 is a sports bike wanna-be copied straight form the R1 line ;)

ohk... TBH FZ16 atleast looks good from the side R15 looks kinda meh...Looks too plasticky.."sports bike wanna-be" seems to be the correct word as it looks like someone added a lot of plastic farings to a rather skinny bike...
