 720p video is insane in a small cam.

dude the max it record is of 10 min of video recording which is pretty much ok since this is meant for pics not for video purposes i hope u r getting my point here its not a camcorder

Panasonic TZ5 is a nice camera for 720P recording and has a killer 10X zoom! Only problem - the compression technology is not that great. So videos take up lot of space and you cant record more that about 15 mins (not sure) in one go.

I myself am looking for a replacement after I gave my TZ5 to my brother. Will post if I find something good.

Edit: TZ5 details

^

Maybe your's doesnt, but i've used a lot of em DSC cameras both in W and T series and they were terrible for parties! Plus the red eye thing is attached to Cybershot. If u see expert reviews of cameras in sites, they always refer to the cybershots like "Speaking of red eye, the camera does a good job, better than those cybershots"...

T25 was one of the best compacts. Though its successor the T27 has arrived, which improves on it

The only thing I didnt like about TZ5 was the high level of details-smearing to avoid noise in low light conditions. Hope TZ7 walks the middle path much better. How much is it for in India, any idea?

late but @keyofx :samui:

He was so humble, I'm still not over it. So was Inon Zur. The Americans were full of themselves (surprise, surprise)

Kow Otani + Hideo Kojima. This deserves a 'this week on IVG' mention :)

Yeah man. Japanese devs are fkin awesome. They have no airs about themselves and are really nice down to earth people. Can't say the same for Americans. Fkin dumbass rednecks. I swear I was itching to pick a fight with the IGN team

23k for TZ7.

Though the Lumix DMC LX3 is still the best camera from Panasonic and its a universally acclaimed compact camera ! It has the noise reduction smudging but at a lower level the the TZ series. Support for RAW images, HD recording and a host of manual controls. Perfect middle ground! :samui:

Tell me about it. I've now lost all respect for the music in God of War :samui:
