Solitaire
gaurav what did you need that for ? Like I said, I don't need that little TV with the LCDs and other large displays I already have at home. But why give up free stuff like this when it comes on your ration card? If you don't take it, then the ration shop bugger will sell it as parts for money My mum and a friend of hers went and stood in line though. Even though I asked them "Why do you need that TV?". People coming there were getting down from City's, Corollas and Civics to stand in line. lol. Shantz
Lol, EVERY one gets free TVs here in TamilNadu as long as you have a ration card. All you got to do is stand in a line for ten minutes with your ration card. They're blowing the tax payers' money on this so might as well get my money's worth back. Such populist measures are well received by the poorer sections here, they'll probably vote the party to power again next elections. and then they say go out and vote when every party promises free TVs or new states
Solitaire
and then they say go out and vote when every party promises free TVs or new states Yup. Free TVs and the idiots will vote. And then they'll put flyovers in parts of the city where u don't need them. I think they even gave away a good deal of rice for free last year like this. "Eat and watch TV" seems to be the TN Govt's motto.

Crazy! Should inform my parents as well! Yeah, last year too. You can only claim it this year if you haven't done it already last year though. And in our area, the distribution of the TV was completed 3 days ago. I don't know if they're still giving it anywhere in Chennai. I know it must cost a pittance, but free's still free OT: DS, where do u work? Ford or Nokia?
