Even if they go belly up, it doesnt affect me or any Amex cardholder. Edit: You guys will be surprised at how difficult it is to get a normal credit card here, let alone an Amex card. Unlike India, where credit cards are tossed around like paper scraps, banks are too paranoid here, especially after the credit crisis. Disclaimer: I know this is not as per the rules of this thread. I only posted it here because an Amex gold card means a lot to folks in my profession and I am happy to have gotten it and I wanted to share it with you chaps.
