Crysis becomes a reality: US Robot Soldier exoskeleton suits – XOS 2.0

Two companies in the USA are developing exoskeleton suits – these are powerful robotic suits to give the human soldiers powerful strength and other abilities.

 

The XOS creators come from UTAH and are currently seen as playing second fiddle to California’s HULC – but they are stepping up the conflict with the latest generation of their powered suit.

Put some deployable wheels on those badboys and add some armament options then you can have soldiers travelling faster than cars and with the ability to strike - Now I am wishing I had tried out for Raytheon when they came for campus recruitment lol

it may be impressive piece of tech ...no doubt but then again...sad to see coming future we will see another good invention becoming a killing machine ....

Not directly. This is more a strength enhancer than a do-it-all suit or robot like the Iron Man Suit or something. It has that big-a*s cable stuck to it and what they're envisioning is using it to load missiles onto air plane wings or load artillery shells into big guns single handedly. More like heavy lifting, not exactly grab the enemy and rip him apart singlehandedly.

It is , it is.. But well, atleast it ain't Metal Gear Rex blowing the sh*t out of an enemy base...

 

Hmmm... maybe if they could lose the cable and put in an arc reactor to power it

i think it has better use in industries ..........material handling and sh*t......................... than in war, hand to hand combat
