Chaztin
1). Xbox 360 has been a BIG HIT unlike its successor Xbox 360 Elite, may be because of price or may be because NO great features were added for anyone to get an excuse to purchase it. PS3 with inbuilt Blu-Ray device gave Xbox 360 and esp Elite a tough competition with growing number of game titles and exclusives, Microsoft had to give proper reply to this... Not officially it is declared and yet a rumor is " Xbox 360 Ultimate ". Read on for more info.... ( Xbox 360 Ultimate ) " Now I believe Microsoft won't stop updating its gaming console, especially in the face of stiff competition! Look at Windows; there's a new one every other year. So when the Xbox 360 was first launched, there were rumors of the Xbox 360 Elite, and now we have that with us. Lately, rumors of the next Xbox 360 version " Xbox Ultimate " are doing the rounds. The details about any alterations in design is unknown at this point, but it should most definitely have HDMI, maybe a 160 GB hard drive, wireless controllers and in addition to all this; a built in HD-DVD drive. The HD-DVD is something to help stand up against the PS3's Blu-Ray drive, full high-def being the one big feature that the PS3 offers over the Xbox 360. Now, how if we actually get a cellphone features in PSP. WOW is all that I can say. ( PSP Phone ) " Nokia, with the original N-gage, was always one of the first to boast of a proper gaming phone. But since Sony Ericsson is not one to be left behind. speculation was always rife. A patent filed last year gave hope to Sony Ericsson fans. The patent application shows a device that looks like a PSP that is designed to work as mobile phone too. It is expected to feature a screen that can be rotated 90 degrees, which will make it easier to switch from phone to gaming mode. As for the specs, it's expected to have TV-out, built in camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, and ( prolly ) it will feature a touch high-res screen, at least 8 GB of built in memory, 20 hour battery life and great sound. ( Wii 2 ) " Amongst the battle of the next-gen consoles, many reports indicate that Wii has done really well despite the odds. It is nowhere near as powerful as the other two and not even officially available in India. It only comes with 512 MB memory and SD slot, so when SNK announced that they would be getting their titles over to Wii (a single SNK title is about 330MB) there was a buzz that the next version of the Wii might see the light of day around next year. There is no news about any design changes, though a bigger hard drive and more powerful hardware would probably be the major additions. " - Courtesy: Living Digital Dec '07 Issue. 4). This is not related to gaming, but I know many people out there reading this thread like apple's iPhone...( iPhone nano/2.0 ) " The iPhone--the invention of the year by Time magazine is also not spared. This time the rumors are about a cheaper, simpler and smaller versoin of the existing iPhone. The iPhone nano/2.0 will ahve the design similar to original, but it would be considerably smaller in dimensions. Now what matters is how much and what all Apple is going to strip from the iPhone to make it small. If it were up to me, I would opt for a further stripped-down version of the OS, lesser internal memory (2/4 GB) and prolly I wil remove the camera from the iPhone and then put a smaller price tag and unleash the product in the market. Who knows may be by this time next year rumors of and iPhone shuffle may create waves. " - Courtesy: Living Digital Dec '07 Issue. All these are/can be rumours, but we all know, this is gonna happen now or some time later but these gadgets ( or some other almost similar to them ) will hit the market!! arjunsood2003
rumours if PSP phone hav been doing the rounds for a pretty long time..it seems pretty much true .. wii2 would be doubtful.. wii is flying off shelves, y do they need a wii2? xbox 360 ultimate would be a really cool addition, but it would be pretty expensive..and blu-ray seems to be winning the format wars currently, so it wudnt be wise to put in a HD DVD drive..
