and Veteran/Hardest difficulty is there for a reason...that is to be a bitch and make u cry so no point in mentioning games on those difficulties, state only games that by default (Normal or at most Hard) are a bitch to play

If I found anything in KZ2 hard it was

1. That a**hole Rico and his habit of lying around half-dead / blocking my view and getting shot

2. Resisting the urge to shoot him for the fun of it / cos he was f**king annoying

I don't play much SP but for MP the toughest ones for me are Halo 1 and Shadowrun. Halo 1 was mostly LAN and videos whereas Shadowrun was XBL. Both were tough as hell!

Well videogames these days have become too easy to handle..Most of them are spoon fed, unlike in the yesteryears.

 

The Shooter which i found very challenging is none other than CONTRA on NES..its not a FPS or TPS but a side scroller,anyhow its a shooter.

 

Hope it can be added up in the list

but yes, it's disgustingly hard and I f**king beat the Tower Knight on the first try. That's one achievement which should get bragging rights. Just like the one below.

The toughness of Demon's Souls depends on whether you are slaving through it or not. I accumulated 10000 souls by going rinse and repeat on the Island level where the skeletons attack you. More over the game is not linear unlike many jrpg's I tried to take on the Phallanx archstone after defeating the boss but it was maddness with the underpowered weapons (great place for farming upgrad stone btw). I use the wanderer class BTW. now after accumulating a ton of souls the game has eased up a bit.

 

It can be safely said that the game promotes farming. Single player WOW FtW

 

Demon's Souls has a new slave but sadly its me :arigato: :censored:

For the thread safely its Killzone 2. Far Cry can be finished by the aid of glitch(not cheats mind you) but in the final level there was no where to hide. Moreover the arsenal at disposal was way too underpowered. the game would have been easier if the lmg was available for pick up.

I think 2D shooters in general are much much harder than 3D shooters...

 

for me its Gradius and Radiant Silvergun .... even gunstar heroes and Megaman(NES) was pretty hard ... the most recent one i played was Contra 4 on the DS .. that game brought back some fun(painfull) memories....

 

Havent played ikaruga yet but i heard some Japanese kid who played using both the controllers at the same time has the highest score on that game lol
